The Pakoras are very dry, but the fact they even serve that kind of stuff in a buffet is great. All round good food.
The buffet is pretty good with a wide assortment of stuff. Good for those who like meat and those who don't. For the most part the food is pretty good, and the price is good for what you get. If you like basic Indian food, then this is the place to go.
I read good reviews on line so, I decided to take my family out for dinner at this restaurant. However, my experience was very different. It was tough to find meat in the dishes as well butter chicken had GULAB JAMUN's sweet base. Too much of salt and every dish almost had the same base and tasted the same. Also, the nan's were burnt. Finally, after unsatisfactory experience with food it was time for payment and to my surprise they charged me half the price of the dinner buffet for my 2year old son (who can't even eat spice food). I eat out at least 2 to 4 times a week and no other restaurant has every charged me for my 2 year old son. Bottom line, I will not be going back to this restaurant again and will not be recommending it to others. There are so many other good east Indian restaurants one can choose from.
Comfortable, friendly, not pretentious at all, and great food for a very reasonable price!! It has a great view both night and day... and free parking to top it off. I'm going there today )
It'a a very casual atmosphere so don't expect waiters running around doing your bidding. However, the staff is polite. For those of us who work nearby this restaurant is excellent. The price is very reasonable and the food is really delicious from the vegetarian perspective. My colleagues and I have enjoyed eating there many, many times. On several occasions we sat on the patio (by ourselves and no smokers!!) which has a spectacular view of Vancouver city and downtown. We love the food there. You can also come in and create a take-out of the buffet. Keep in mind, also, I do not eat meat so cannot say from that perspective. Go for the vegetarian dishes!! It's better for you anyway and better for our planet. Cheers!
