My favorite Vancouver Szechuan restaurant closed down several years ago and I have been searching for another really outstanding replacement for it, for years. THIS IS IT. Excellent. The food really is terrific with lots of snap and fresh crispy ingredients. Dont look any further if Szechuan is your thing. You have found it!

Great neighborhood restaurant with nice owners, yummy food, and good prices, particularly at lunch time when they have a lunch special.

We've ordered from them at least two dozen times, and have always been pleased. We love the Westlake soup, seafood fried rice, pan-fried gai lan (or broccoli) and, most of all, their dry garlic ribs. Our orders have typically been ready for pick-up in 20 minutes, only rarely longer (say, 30 minutes if they're really busy) and on occasion in as little as 15. Friendly staff.

Hand made noodles, hot and sour soup, spring rolls, are all excellent.

The food is really good. Lucky Star is a great place, with a nice atmosphere, great food, and really spectacular owners. Going there is not a mistake!
